Donate to Safe Futures
Safe Futures Foundation depends on the generosity of its supporters to provide the most effective responses possible for clients. While we receive government funding, there are strict requirements for what that funding may be used for, and it is often reserved for baseline responses including case management and crisis accommodation.
Safe Futures supported over 900 women and children this financial year, many who are living in emergency accommodation after escaping family violence. We provide the women and children with a "Welcome Pack" including a range of new toiletries, food, blankets and clothing.
Purchasing some of the below items is a great way of individuals, community groups and corporate organisations to make a difference to the women and children who require Safe Futures assistance.
Safe Futures current wish list includes:
Single and Double bed linen
Standard bottles of Shampoo and Conditioner
Gift vouchers or cards to purchase fresh food, nappies, baby formula
If you are donating items to Safe Futures, please be guided by the above list and note we do not accept second hand goods.
Make a monetary donation today to help change the lives of women and children escaping family violence.
Specific purpose donations are welcome. Please contact Safe Futures Foundation on 03 9877 0311 if you want to discuss your ideas.
Because giving is the single most powerful thing you can do to help those who are living with family violence.
Workplace giving is a great way for employees and employers to assist us in delivering our services. A regular donation from you income results in a tax reduction as you give. With one simple and low-cost setup, organisations are able to demonstrate their corporate social responsibility.
How does it work?
You can donate money directly through your pay to us on a regular basis and receive a tax deduction as you give. Simply complete the Workplace Giving registration form and nominate your chosen amount to donate each pay from you pre-tax salary. This means you will get tax savings straight away, reducing you taxable income.
Send the completed Workplace Giving registration form to your payroll officer and ask them to set it up for you. Your payroll officer can get more information on how to set up Workplace Giving at www.ato.gov.au
As an employer, if you wish to offer workplace giving, you can invite your employees to enter into a workplace giving program. Your employees nominate their preferred charity and then specify the amount they wish to donate. For more information on setting up Workplace Giving, visit www.ato.gov.au
